Versailles is more than a palace surrounded with beautiful gardens. It also has a huge park where one can discover two lovely castles named Grand and Petit Trianons, former summer residences for the Kings who wanted to rest and forget about the "Etiquette" of the Court.
The tour starts off with a guided visit to the State Apartments of the Palace (Hall of Mirrors and the Queen's Bedroom) and free time to take a walk in the beautiful gardens.
A short city sightseeing tour on an open top deck bus follows, then lunch (drinks included) at the park near the Grand Canal.
During the afternoon, you will visit the Grand Trianon and take a stroll in the park leading to Marie- Antoinette's Hamlet, the fancy farm where she loved to welcome her best friends and play at shepherding. You will also view of the newly restored Theatre.
