Description |

Inspired by the beautiful, peaceful and colorful countryside of Giverny, Claude Monet settled here in 1883 for the rest of his life. This tour will take you to Monet's home where you’ll discover his studio and the places of his inspiration.
We leave Paris via the western districts of the city and follow the Normandy motorway to reach Giverny. Our guide will give an enlightening talk as we visit the gardens before leaving you to explore Monet's home and studio on their own.
Depending on the time schedule, the tour will also visit the Museum of American Art. Inspired by the colony of American Impressionist artists who settled in Giverny near the house of Claude Monet, the Musée d’Art Américain Giverny showcases American art from 1750 to the present and regularly updating new exhibitions every year. The art collection is housed in the white somber museum and integrated into the surrounding landscape. The building itself is a perfect blend of art and nature, staying true to Giverny’s Impressionist roots.
