The sacred town of Reims is the capital of the Champagne region and known throughout the world for its sparkling wine, champagne. Reims is also the city of coronations where most of the French Kings were crowned.
We cross Paris by the eastern districts as far as Porte de Bercy and then take the eastern motorway where for a refreshment stop (at client's own charge).
Upon our arrival in Reims, we will go on a guided visit of the Gothic cathedral and an orientation tour of the city. There is also a guided visit of the Mumm cellars with the famous "Cordon Rouge" tasting. You will be given some time for lunch on your own in the center of Reims.
In the afternoon we drive to Epernay, passing by la Montagne de Reims for a guided visit of the Moët & Chandon cellars (or Achille Mercier) and wine tasting. We leave Epernay at around 16:00 and return to Paris around 18:30.
