The Latin Quarter is on Paris left bank and the Sorbonne is its historical center. A genuine melting pot of the French intellectual élite, it owes its name to the fact that during the Middle Ages, all classes were given exclusively in Latin.
From the Saint-Michel fountain to the Panthéon, you'll walk in Jean-Paul Sartre's and Simone de Beauvoir's footsteps. You will be able to admire Saint Michel place and its monumental fountain, a popular place to Parisians for dating. Between culture and knowledge, you will plunge in a lovely aspect of Paris, living and abounding by students in Polytechnic school, from Sorbonne university or by theatergoers of the Odéon theater. During the visit, you are going to discover the "Panthéon", where important persons who played a role for the national identity, are buried.
Your tour continues on to Notre Dame, one of the most remarkable gothic architecture cathedrals. Then, you enjoy a relaxing moment walking to the Luxembourg garden in the heart of the city, which inspired Flaubert, Victor Hugo and Sartre.
