Located on a rocky island in Europe's largest bay, the Mont Saint-Michel Abbey (rightly named "The Marvel of the Western World") is still one of the most famous pilgrimage centers since the Middle Ages and is recognized as a World Heritage site by UNESCO.
The tour drives through the green landscapes of the Normandy region to reach the island, stopping by a Norman village with some time to explore. Lunch will be at Relais St Michel, a modern restaurant with refined decor and an excellent view of the Mont-Saint-Michel monument.
Lunch Menu
- Omelette
- Poultry Scalloppe
- Rice with mushrooms
- "blanc manger" with fruits
- Water and cider (1 bottle for 6 persons)
- Coffee or Tea
Afterward, the tour climbs the monument, either via the ramparts or through the village, to as far as the Abbey located on the top. Our guided visit covers the interior of the Abbey. There will be free time later for a walk in the village.
