We will start the tour with a walk around the gay section of rue des Archives and see the popular bars, restaurants and boutiques. If open, we might also visit the only remaining Cloister in Paris.
We then continue to rue des Rosier and the Jewish section of Paris. The French Revolution guaranteed Jews equal rights and, as a result, its community has grown through the years to become the largest in Europe.
We will pass Hotel Lamoignon as well as the Musee Carnavalet, a renaissance jewel devoted to the history of Paris and one of the loveliest small museums in Paris.
Our walk continues to Place des Vosges, known as one of the most beautiful squares in Europe surrounded by 17th century arcades restaurants and shops.
Finally, you are invited for a glass of wine in an unusual bar known as a meeting place for magicians and, if lucky, we might see a trick or two.
