 Claude Monet settled here in 1883 for the rest of his life, inspired by the beautiful, peaceful and colourful countryside of Giverny. This tour will take you to Monet's home, where you’ll discover his studio and the places of his inspiration.
With your driver-guide, wander past the lily pond and its famous Japanese bridge, Monet's main sources of inspiration near the end of his life. Then, explore the flower garden, the house and the former studio of the painter at your own pace.
You will have the opportunity to visit the beautiful Museum of American Art at the latter part of the tour. Inspired by the colony of American Impressionist artists who settled in Giverny near the house of Claude Monet, the Musée d’Art Américain Giverny showcases American art from 1750 to the present and regularly updating new exhibitions every year. The art collection is housed in the white somber museum and integrated into the surrounding landscape. The building itself is a perfect blend of art and nature, staying true to Giverny’s Impressionist roots.
