Description
The Segway tour is the perfect tour for both those new to the city and Parisian veterans. For the beginners, this tour will offer you a fantastic orientation and give you an opportunity to see virtually all of the sites you’ve read about. For the veterans, we’re positive you’ll learn new facts and stories about Paris that you’ve never heard. And we’re sure you’ll both agree that riding a Segway is the best way to see the ‘City of Light’.

Highlights
- The Eiffel Tower - the symbol of Paris. Built for the World Exposition of 1889 and stood as the tallest building in the world until New York's Chrysler building in 1930.
- Napoleon's Tomb - originally built by King Louis XIV, now the resting place of the most famous Frenchman in history.
- The Louvre Museum - originally built as a fort by King Philippe-Auguste in 1190, now one of the grandest museums in the world. The most famous works include the Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo and Winged Victory of Samothrace.
- Tuileries Gardens - beautiful gardens in the middle of the city where we’ll settle down for lunch at a café nestled in the chestnut trees (price not included).
- Musée D’Orsay - originally a train station and now the museum of Impressionist paintings.
- Also see the Ecole Militaire, Les Invalides, Alexander III Bridge, Grand and Petit Palais, Place de la Concorde and more!

Our 4-5 hour tours are limited to 8 clients with 1 guide so you can count on a great, intimate experience. Discover what it's like to be a Parisian celebrity as everyone, and we mean everyone, turns to watch us glide by!

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Segway?
The Segway™ Human Transporter is the first of its kind—a self-balancing, personal transportation device designed to go anywhere people do. Easy to use and operate, the two-wheeled Segway sports high-tech gyroscopes that automatically respond to your body's movements, "sensing" when it should speed up and slow down. You stand on a small platform between left and right wheels as you hold onto handlebars at a comfortable waist height. The Segway handles the balancing for you, so that you're always upright as you glide through any environment.

Are the tours cancelled in case of rain?
No, our tours run rain or shine. We have ponchos available for anyone that needs them and the Segways themselves run just fine in all weather.

Do we go inside the museums and monuments?
Unfortunately we cannot enter the monuments because French law prohibits anyone except an actual employee of, for example, the Louvre from leading you inside the museum. Besides, there’s always some people that want 10 minutes in the Louvre and others that want 3 hours. We’re here to Segway and enjoy the city so that’s what we’re going to do!

How far in advance do I need to reserve?
Occasionally we do have space available should you call the morning of your desired tour. This, however, is rare and we suggest you reserve as far ahead of time as possible. We tend to fill all of our tours.

Are Segways safe for children or people with disabilities?
Although riding a Segway is relatively easy to do and learn, we do require that all riders be at least 12 years of age. Each of our tours begins with a 40-minute orientation session in the plaza and park next to our office. We will practice on the Segways so that everyone feels comfortable and ready to go out and conquer Paris.
